Masdevallia Nidifica are an excellent terrarium plant, usually gound naturally in mountainous forest and cloud areas. Nidifica Orchids can thrive in a terrarium when the conditions are right.

Origin: Native from the cloud forests of Mexico, tropical regions of South America, and the Andes.

How to grow and care for Masdevallia Nidifica in Terrariums
This miniature orchid only grows to about 3 inches in size, and earns its name (nidifica means nesting in Latin) by the small nest/space at the center of the plant. Nidifica Orchids thrive in cool, shady and high mousture environments which make them an excellent addition to closed terrariums, and open terrariums when humidity is maintained.
